I love using metaphors in coaching. They’re a great way to interrupt your thinking and reveal patterns that might otherwise be hiding in your subconscious.

Gardens and creative practice are similar.

You can provide all the right inputs and do all the work, but there remains an element of waiting to see what happens next.

You have to allow for the things you can’t control.

In this live session, I will take you through a series of prompts designed to let in some light and air as you prepare for the next quarter of 2024.

We’ll stir up any compacted corners and give you some new ways to think about what you do and why you do it.

You are welcome whether your practice runs with the efficiency of a market garden, or you’re a guerilla gardener sprinkling foraged seeds into pockets of wild soil.

You will reflect on:

• the conditions you’re working with
• materials and processes available to you
• what season you’re in (personally and creatively)
• what you produced/created last season
• what you’d like in your personal PLOT for the next quarter
